TAG Heuer has announced a global partnership with MARV films and 20th Century Fox with the recently-released film Kingsman: The Golden Circle. The characters in the film wear timepieces from both the TAG Heuer Monaco collection and the TAG Heuer Connected collection, and play a pivotal role in the characters’ success in the film.
TAG Heuer has released a special Kingsman Edition Connected model in homage to the watch worn in the film. The collection boasts the first luxury Connected Watch with a touch screen display which was engineered in collaboration with Intel. These timepieces feature Bluetooth pairing and smart phone compatibility.

Both Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of TAG Heuer and Chairman of the Watch Division of LVMH Group, and the director of Kingsman are thrilled with this new partnership. Biver expressed his enthusiasm, stating:

The choice for characters in Kingsman was an easy decision for director Matthew Vaughn, who stated:
“For Kingsman: The Golden Circle, we needed a smart watch for our agents. We looked at the different options available, but none of them were elegant enough for a Kingsman. Then I saw an interview on Bloomberg TV with Jean-Claude Biver about his connected watch, and it became immediately obvious; the Kingsman agents would wear the TAG Heuer Connected.”

For the film, the actors required timepieces that could withstand underwater shoots as well as fight and stunt scenes. True to the TAG Heuer slogan, these watches would not crack under pressure.
